Coexist?

Once Paul was converted by the vision of Christ, his sole purpose in life was to save others.
Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. I can testify that they have a zeal for God, but it is not enlightened. For, being ignorant of the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking to establish their own, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. - Romans 10:1-4
We might think it is an intrusion on someone to share our faith with them in the hope of saving them. Who did Paul think he was?
When we are convinced that it is only those who believe in Christ who will be saved, it becomes our desire, if not duty and purpose, to bring everyone we know to salvation, right?
If the house was on fire, would you not want to save those inside?
But there is a movement to live and let live, to coexist with others, without wanting to change their beliefs. I understand that as a sign of respect, and if all are saved who come to God through any path, that is fine. But what if that isn't the case?
If there is only one exit from the burning house, you would want everyone to find it.
There is another approach that doesn't require that we seek to change what people believe. It is to show the world how joyful and glorious it is to live with Christ in our lives. That way, we can coexist, knowing we are setting an example of living a saved life of grace.
Surely people will take notice and want to know more. Or they won't.
It is like telling the folks in the burning building that you have found the exit, and letting them decide if they want to follow you to it.
More to come...
