Keeping It Simple
Today is a day of new beginnings.
Every time we begin a Kairos Outside Weekend, we meet new people anx make new friends. For me, the process really begins on Saturday, the first full day of activity, when the men who work in the background introduce themselves as members of the team.
Without revealing any of tbe surprises the women guests expedience on the weekend, I can tell you that the first real presence of men in a positive role, serving and supporting the. Team happens this morning, and that experience is all about hospitality and love.
Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining. -1 Peter 4:8-9
In today's reading, Peter reminds us that it is all about love for one another. Agape is the word we use of that unconditional love that God shows us, and that is what se try to shos all weekend long.
So, I will keep this short, since I have to get ready for the day, but keep these women and their families in your prayers today and throughout the weekend. We will be doing our best to be great hosts, serving, etertaining, and praying all weekend long. Join us in prayer and they will feel your love.
God bless you.
More to come...
